Tonight I party with "Fajita and Margarita" the two senioritas , because the movie is finished!
Well, it is what I have been calling "festival ready". There are a couple of items on my wishlist
that I will likely be going back to tweak before it goes out to distribution but as far as a festival screener, there is nothing else to write, shoot, record or create, it is all done.
After working all week finalizing the score, doing a last sound mix on scene 6 - the Dorm Room scene where Andrea and Brandy meet again, (which I'd forgotten to do with the other stuff) and assembling it all into a master file, we just finished screening the completed film.
And it seems to be pretty cool!
The final mix will be output and I should be able to start making screener disks by Wednesday.
So tonight, I am relishing the buzz and taking a breather secure in the fact that the disks will go out to the festivals and distribution candidates later this coming week!
