So the festival has FINALLY started and movies have been rolling all evening! There was an awesome band called "Sorry, Nelson" performing who ALSO had a very cool film premiering here (but the base player, Louis, shouldn't be allowed to have popcorn in the theatre, lol). Following their performance was a group called Petral, and a short runway show from designer whose French name I can't remember. Workshops are very informative. One movie I liked today was called The End. The star was a friendly Canadian who also wrote and directed this very unusual film. I recommend it for a good laugh! Going in we were all a little skeptical, but he had a unique idea and totally followed through with it! Congrats Jeremy & Ella--everybody really really loved it! There were lots of shorts to appreciate that were all very different from each other. There were so many great shorts that I could go on and on.
In addition, there are lots of men running around with cameras getting great footage of the festival and lots of interviews. I understand that a documentary is being made. My co-star and I did an interview via poolside with actor/director/action stunt-man Kely McClung (who also did a workshop). Very dedicated individuals here!!!!!
The walk from the hotel is not too bad and we get into most things free. my personal favorite is the Rain Forest Cafe-worst thing about this trip is all the annoying children in the hotel! But, we get fireworks every night to make up for it. Everybody is loving the venue!
I have met some very sweet people! So honest, passionate, and helpful!
Not to mention the men are gorgeous! lol!

Doom Bunny was drinking a Peach Tea in Disneyland this morning. Lora and I in front of the Year of a Million Dreams. Doom Bunny and I taking a pic together. A pic from Friday when we went to Build-A-Bear in Disneyland-I had to pose with the list since it seemed so adult in content as well as very demanding (Carmilla approves! HAHA!)
